Our Children's Ministries and Programs
Children in grades K- 6th are encouraged to attend worship with their families. Midway through the 9:30 worship service children are invited to join together for a special "Children's Message" after which those in grades K - 2nd leave the service to participate in a special Children's Worship program (Sept-May)
Preschoolers (3 & 4 years) attend "Godly Play"; Nursery care for infants birth - 3 years is provided from 9:15 - 12 noon and during church events. Children's Programs are in the Christian Education building.

Adventuring With Christ (KAC)
A
fellowship and activities program for children in grades 3 - 6 which
meets
monthly during the school year on Friday evenings.
Kids Sing for Joy
Elementary age kids are
encouraged to meet in the Lounge at Sundays at 10:30AM to join Suzanne
Johnson for singing and snacks.

Jesus makes all things new!
Do you
remember the best parts of Vacation Bible School? Maybe
it was the snacks - full of sugar and fun. Maybe
it was the music - the tunes you can still hum today – even if you
don’t remember all the words. Maybe it was
the stories of larger than life characters
that made a difference. Maybe it was the
power of Jesus - the power of the cross. Maybe
it was the friends that you got to spend a whole week -or maybe two
weeks- with. Whatever your memories -
vacation bible school was designed to share God’s love for us, his love
in Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. The
reasons for Vacation Bible School haven’t changed; we’re just fine
tuning the delivery. This year we will
have the opportunity to present G.A.D.G.E.T. (God’s Always Doing Great,
Exciting Things) to the entire congregation. Every
Sunday morning in August we will travel with Gadget and Gizmo and learn
about the wonders of God’s world. We will
use our hands, hearts, ears, eyes and mind to explore God’s love. There will be songs, stories, snacks, games
and more for everyone in our church community. There
will be some break out activities “just for kids” but we’ll have plenty
of opportunities for every one to join in after church and to also join
us for a community meal. Mark your
calendars NOW!
Every Sunday in August from 10 am -1 pm.
We need your
help to make this a success. If you can
help on a given Sunday or in a certain area please contact Jean Picard;
662-2971 or Mardel in the church office. We
need people to coordinate Sunday meals, snacks, crafts, games,
storytelling, set design, acting in skits, a photographer and a robot.

Camping
Programs
Each
summer church camping programs are sponsored for children in grades 3 -
6 at Sonlight Christian camp, Pagosa Springs, Colorado. In addition,
special
activities are offered for children at our annual All Church Camp on
Labor
Day weekend.
